Dr. Satwant Singh Rissam
Dr. Satwant Singh Rissam is a media and communication professional, an author with a profound passion for heritage conservation and awareness, based in Jammu (J&K), with over fifteen years of notable professional experience. Since 2011, he has established himself as a prominent voice contributing to scholarly analyses of current issues. He has worked with Daily Excelsior, Duggar Desh News, and Jammu Links News in J&K. Dr. Satwant holds a law degree from Symbiosis Law School in Pune, LL.M. and Ph.D. in law from the University of Jammu, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning. His career began as a law lecturer at Dogra Law College in Jammu before transitioning into journalism. In addition to his media career, he is deeply dedicated to heritage conservation and served as the Additional Co-Convenor of the Jammu Chapter INTACH, one of India’s largest heritage organizations with over 190 chapters. His diverse expertise in media, communications, and cultural preservation highlights his commitment to intellectual and societal progress, making him a respected figure for his work.
